Barton Hartshorn’s songs can be heard around the world… His voice and songs have graced festival crowds, have gained worldwide radio-play and have charmed the international music press, from webzines all the way up to Rolling Stone Magazine. Barton’s unique brand of storytelling indie-folk has continued to captivate listeners over his multi-album career and on the live stage where he performs solo and with a full-band.
Former frontman & songwriter for Dictafone, whose album Home was produced by studio legend Ken Scott (Bowie, Lou Reed, The Beatles…) Barton Hartshorn has released four studio albums (and a new EP!) and has songs that feature on film soundtracks.
This year “Everything is better than before” is on the soundtrack of UNcancelled, a film by Luke Eve. The film will be premiered in Madrid in March & Los Angeles in April.
A new studio album and multi-media live show incorporating a film projection is currently in the works for 2025.
